Synopsis:

Lamont is suspected of killing Eddie, a.k.a. Little Rocco, a hoodlum he helped send to the penitentiary. Weston grants Lamont twenty-four hours to find proof of his innocence before he arrests the amateur detective. The Big Roc and his goons kidnap Lamont and try to kill him with carbon monoxide. The detective manages to escape and learns that Rocco and his men plan a hijacking and Jigger plans to double-cross Rocco. The Shadow races out of town to apprehend the criminals. After foiling Jigger’s attempt to eliminate Rocco, The Shadow forces him to confess how he framed Lamont Cranston. Jigger knew when Eddie got out he’d take his place as Rocco’s right hand man. The police take all the criminals into custody and Lamont is cleared of any wrongdoing.
