Synopsis:

Hours before they actually happen, a gentleman named Spud speaks in detail about crimes that take place within the city. On the third evening, Spud predicts the death of Lamont Cranston and the bombing of the power plant on the East Side of the city that will throw the entire city into darkness. After suffering a shoulder wound from the failed murder attempt, Lamont dons the guise of The Shadow to foil the scheme. Spud and his gang of cutthroats committed a murder and a robbery to make Spud’s predictions come true, and faked the bombing of the power plant as the entire police force rushes to the East Side. Lamont arranges for Shreve to phone Weston and order his men back. Meanwhile, The Shadow foils the scheme for looting every worthwhile store and money center on the West Side, temporarily void of police.The police arrive and use tear gas to apprehend the criminals.
