Synopsis:

Margot Lane is admitted as a patient to Dr. Norton’s private sanitarium so she can assist Lamont undercover in the investigation of a series of murders. Terry Mason, an old friend of Lamont’s, tipped off the wealthy playboy about the murders, claiming his uncle and the doctor admitted him to the hospital in order to gain complete control of his inheritance. Lamont discovers the murder weapon is a poisonous snake.The mysterious music played in a minor key was used to guide the serpent. But the murderer is Terry himself, who was hoping Lamont would investigate and implicate those who had wronged him — the young man who really needed help.
