Synopsis:
The day after a quartet of bandits steal the famous Calvour diamond in a sensational daylight theft, Boss Ricci walks into a doctor’s office with a head wound. The doctor patches him up so Ricci can go after his former partners who dumped him off on the side of the road during the robbery after he was injured. While Lamont questions the doctor, Ricci leaves a trail of murder wherever he goes, killing Dodo Dooley and Jigger and stealing their cuts from the diamond theft. The last member of the gang, The Professor, attempts to flee town, but comes face to face with the doctor who confesses that Ricci died on the operating table after babbling about the diamond and his being double-crossed. The doctor masqueraded as the dead man in an attempt to get the diamond. The Shadow arrives and before The Professor can cover the room inch by inch for the elusive avenger, the riot squad arrives at the door for the two crooks.
