Synopsis:
Eduardo Rovelli, a notorious gangster serving five years behind bars in Mexico City, escapes from prison. After plastic surgery, he returns to the U.S. under the identity of Brutus Crane, a wealthy connoisseur who offers to buy the famed Queen of Asia, a diamond worth a million dollars. Before the diamond can be cut into twenty-five smaller diamonds for the purpose of a necklace, he conceives of stealing the Queen of Asia when the lights go out under the guise of The Shadow. While Weston begins a search for the invisible avenger, Lamont sets out to learn the identity of the Shadow imposter and prove to the police that Rovelli was behind the theft. Realizing the criminal needs a diamond cutter to complete his task, Lamont sends Margot to the cutter, only to become the main force behind convincing the cutter to do the deed — or else. Lamont, as The Shadow, tracks her whereabouts and Weston arrives in time to discover Rovelli’s scheme.
