Synopsis:

Lamont and Margot recount to their good friend, Major Spire, the story of the time they vacationed on the island of Little Cauldron.Virtually owned by brothers Gerald and Edmund Fergus, the only white residents, the rest of the population consisted of natives who practiced voodoo rituals and worshipped reptiles. After two brutal murders, Lamont and Margot meet Sebastian, an escaped killer who attempts to prove his innocence by proving Edmund faked his own death. Edmund wished to convince the natives of his supernatural resurrection in order to gain power on the island. His plan exposed, Edmund orders Margot’s ritual sacrifice, but The Shadow puts an end to the reign of terror and murder by breaking the hold Edmund had over the natives — proving that his voodoo magic is stronger than Edmond’s. Sebastian loses his life in the process of restoring law and order.
