Synopsis:

Vacationing in Cuba, Margot and Lamont are contacted by W.J. Tuttle. Tuttle escaped from the Suicide League which profits from the wealthy searching for death-defying thrills. On the trail of the League’s contact man, Señor Muerto, Margot is kidnapped and Lamont is forced at gunpoint to the bar “La Cucaracha,” the secret hideout and mansion of Lefty Loreno and the Suicide League. After discovering a secret passageway in the house, The Shadow questions those involved and learns that Lefty, a mobster deported from the U.S., takes his orders from an unknown by phone. The Shadow quickly finds that Tuttle is the boss, who sneaks out of the house and gives the orders to Lefty while posing as one of the members of the League. With the League getting risky, Tuttle wanted Lamont to smash the League and have Lefty held responsible while Tuttle made away with the money. Angry for the betrayal, Lefty attempts to shoot Tuttle so he falls into a pool of piranhas but instead Lefty slips and falls in. The Shadow holds Tuttle for the police.
