Synopsis:

While searching for the missing Joe Boreli, a member of a West Indian voodoo cult, Lamont and Margot’s investigation comes to an abrupt halt when they discover the fingerprints of the killer are those of Peter Dorn, a convicted murderer who was electrocuted in the penitentiary over a month ago. Suspecting a walking zombie, Lamont sets out to find the true killer. Dr. Richards was the brother of Peter Dorn, once a member of the voodoo cult. Having been disbarred from the medical profession, he kidnapped Boreli and tricked the young man into thinking he was Peter Dorn so he could walk about and commit murders against other cult members. By grafting the dead man’s fingerprints on the so-called zombie, the doctor threw the blame on the dead man. Attempting to eliminate the evidence since The Shadow knows about him, the doctor attempts to push his zombie into a tank wired with high voltage electric current. The Shadow pushes Boreli out of the way, and the doctor’s own forward motion causes him to lose his balance and fall in.
