Synopsis:

Two foreign spies and a mind reader posing as a spiritualist form a joint venture to extract valuable information from members of the War Department to be sold to a foreign country. Lamont and Margot join Paul Ryder one evening and realizing the scheme, interrupt the proceedings.As The Shadow, Lamont investigates the method by which the spies gather details of a top-secret anti-aircraft gun. During the next séance, The Shadow adds his voice to the trumpet by exposing the truth. Before the spiritualist can come to his defense, the conspirators shoot him dead. Commissioner Weston and his men arrive to take command of the crime scene, and The Shadow plants evidence on the two spies, cinching their conviction.
