Synopsis:

Alice Faulkner’s brother, Dr. Alan Faulkner, was a great authority on reptile poisons. His partner, Dr. Victor Linder, had constructed a special laboratory nicknamed the “Snake House” by local residents but a boa constrictor brought back from South America escaped from its cage and crushed Faulkner to death. Shortly before he died, he developed antitoxins for almost every reptile venom in existence. As a friend of the late doctor, Lamont agrees to investigate the circumstances so Alice, who suffers from visions of her brother, can get some rest. Margot and Alice soon discover they are to become victims of the same snake when Linder, eager to feed the reptile and wanting to dispose of the sleuths, operates the hidden controls to expose the women to the open specimen room. The Shadow appears and takes command but, before he can save the day, Linder catches a glimpse of Faulkner’s ghostly specter and falls into the room — the next victim of the boa constrictor.
