Synopsis:
Vacationing on a secluded island near Mandalay, a section of the earth unexplored, Lamont and Margot learn that a thousand miles up in the hills is a privately owned diamond mine. Three bandits named Jake, Lymie and Jordan lead a group of outlaws who overpower the miners and steal a three-month supply of diamonds that was scheduled to be exported. Lamont receives a cry for help from a native using mental telepathy, their ancient form of communication. Venturing into the hills, Lamont and Margot discover the cry for help was legitimate and while the crooks kidnap Margot The Shadow damages the airplane’s three motors to prevent the criminals’ escape. Knocking Jordan unconscious, The Shadow gives Margot instructions to release the miners so a revolt can commence — and Lymie and Jake are ultimately gunned down. The criminals who survive flee into the jungle where the brutal natives wait.
