Synopsis:

Investigating the mysterious ship wrecks attributed to the ghost of Captain Bayloe, an old sea dog who was thrown overboard a hundred years ago and lost a cargo of silver and his dear wife, Lamont and Margot set a course on his private yacht for Bayloe Island. When the engines smoke and the crew panics, the two set sail to the island and discover the survivors of previous wrecks being held captive — prisoners in an underground dungeon. Yandi and his men operate a heat ray that causes ships to wreck on the north end of the island. The survivors are made prisoners to mine the mineral wealth of the island. After liberating the prisoners, The Shadow smashes the tubes on the heat ray. Back on board the yacht, Lamont and Margot offer food to the survivors and Lamont explains to Margot that before they left Bayloe Island, the prisoners overpowered Yandi, locking him and his confederates in their own dungeons to suffer the terrible fate they designed for others.
