Synopsis:

Lamont and Margot witness a shooting on the street and take the body to a nearby doctor’s office. The victim dies on the operating table and two minutes after the doctor steps out to deliver the bad news the corpse vanishes – along with the murder weapon Lamont had picked up. Back in Margot’s apartment, the corpse reappears, and the sleuths phone Commissioner Weston — who isn’t happy when he discovers the body has vanished again and the doctor’s office is vacant. When the cadaver reappears in Lamont’s apartment, a phone call offers to dispose of the body and the murder weapon with his fingerprints on it for twenty-five thousand dollars. Tony Nesbitt, a rival racketeer to the dead man, visits the apartment and sees the dead man revive, thanks to The Shadow being behind the corpse. Thinking the dead man has risen, Tony empties his gun into the corpse to no effect. A surprised Commissioner Weston returns to the apartment to find Tony panicking and confessing to the crime of murder.
