Synopsis:

For the past three Christmas seasons, Lamont and Margot have taken a young newsboy named Joey McNulty on a tour of the toy sections of all the department stores. Joey and his family barely make enough to get by so on this particular Christmas Eve his desperate father robs his employer, Mr. Murphy, a real-life Ebenezer Scrooge. Feeling guilty about his deed, and with little Joey knowing what he has done, Pop McNulty is coached by The Shadow to visit Mr. Murphy and explain why he robbed him. It takes a bit of encouragement, and a church choir, to convince Mr. Murphy to let bygones be bygones. After The Shadow reminds Murphy that Christmas is a time of forgiveness, the Scrooge figure makes amends.
