Synopsis:

Lamont and Margot, passengers on the private yacht of Sir John, find themselves prisoner when the cunning Captain Joe and his confederates board the yacht and takes command of the helm. Arriving at a private island in the Caribbean, Captain Joe reveals to Margot that he and his cutthroats live in luxury with plumbing, electricity, furniture, rugs — nothing but the finest. Margot tempts Captain Joe into revealing the true nature of the island: it is a bomb and torpedo depot for a foreign power to use in case war reaches the shores of America. Empty bombers can refuel at the island and fly far enough to level all of New York. Lamont escapes custody of the renegades and, as The Shadow, hypnotizes Captain Joe into freeing Margot who makes a speedy return to the yacht. After attaching a fuse to one of the bombs in the stockpile, The Shadow joins Margot in time to witness a tremendous explosion that kills Captain Joe and his comrades.
