Synopsis:

Howard Crane murders the brilliant Professor Petro after successfully learning how to operate a newly developed television screen that allows the user to view anyone anywhere in the city. As the former owner of the Gordon Trust Company, Howard Crane sets out to exact revenge on the three men responsible for ruining him — Gordon, Jennings and Dexter. After using the machine to discover the identity of The Shadow, Crane contacts Finger Fenton and convinces him to join forces for a crime spree like the city has never known — and for the murder of the three men, he will give him the identity of The Shadow. Fenton agrees and the men are promptly murdered. When Lamont discovers that each of his actions is foiled in advance, he suspects such a machine in use and uses a clever ploy to rout out the operator. As The Shadow, Lamont locates the origin of the machine and smashes it moments before Finger Fenton opens up his machine gun against the invisible avenger. Crane is accidentally killed in the barrage without revealing the Shadow’s real identity.
