Synopsis:

While spending the weekend at the Barton estate, Lamont and Margot witness the murder of Henry Barton and the theft of the Great Harvey Diamond. Count Santo, one of the guests, attempts to flee the scene but when The Shadow questions his motives, someone silences the Count with a gun. In order to catch and apprehend the real thieving killer, Lamont fakes a poisoning and asks the doctor who tends to him to go along with the ruse momentarily. The Shadow appears when all suspects are present to reveal that Skippy, whom everyone thought was a child, is really a midget named Mike Herotti. Having assumed he poisoned Lamont Cranston, Herotti stole the diamond from Henry Barton and silenced the Count before revealing Skippy’s real identity. Attempting to flee, Skippy is attacked and killed by the Barton’s family dog.
