Synopsis:

Venturing to the old lighthouse on the end of Devil’s Point late one evening, Lamont and Margot discover a horrible secret — a bride who disappeared seven years ago has returned from her watery grave. Her father, Captain Briggs, pays a visit to the lighthouse only to discover his daughter died on her wedding night and Danton, her husband, privately cares for the lighthouse, keeping everyone away. After the captain is found strangled to death by seaweed and both Margot and Lamont witness the specter, The Shadow questions the local innkeeper to learn the truth. Margot is kidnapped and taken to the lighthouse by Danton until The Shadow comes to her rescue. Danton commits suicide by jumping into the sea amidst a surge of waves. His wife, Lucy, explains to Margot that she never died seven years ago and she’s completely sane. It was Danton who was mad (and a killer). She was merely trying to scare people away to protect her true love.
