Synopsis:

In their search for some clue to the identity of the fiendish killer striking at performers and freaks in an amusement park, Lamont, Margot and Shreve unearth the decapitated head of the first victim. The second victim is found with her arms cut off. After identification of the first victim, Lamont learns the facts behind a crooked insurance scheme that involved the two victims and later, a third. The Shadow questions the remaining suspects, including an armless man and Siamese twins, only to discover the solution did not involve the insurance scheme — the Siamese twins sought revenge against the people responsible for swindling the freaks along the side show. Their terrible way to get even ultimately takes their own lives when they start up a roller coaster in an effort to eliminate the sleuths, who race across the tracks. In saving Margot’s life when she gets her foot caught in the track, Lamont pulls up a board causing the runaway car to wreck and kill the twins.
