Synopsis:

With his love of sculpture and an overpowering desire to show off his new process to the world, Dr. Tasso creates a serum that boosts calcification in the human body. Injecting each of his victims, he intensifies the disease until the body attains the consistency of granite. With the doctor’s distorted mentality and a desperate sculptor named Harper, the artist puts on an exhibit featuring the life-like statues. When Shreve notices one of the statues is a close friend, Lamont investigates and Margot pays an after-hours visit to the art gallery for a closer inspection. Following Tasso and Harper to their office, The Shadow discovers the secret. Margot is captured and comes close to becoming a member of the prized art collection, but The Shadow comes to the rescue. Tasso and Harper attempt to flee, but their escape is cut short by an oncoming train.
