Synopsis:

When Lamont and Margot go fishing, they pull a corpse out of the water and discover the body is that of a reporter at The Daily Register. After questioning Anne Brewster, the man’s fiancée, Lamont and Margot find notes and papers in his apartment that implicate gang leader Tony Patrini and a nightclub owner in a racket of international scope. Following the trail to a boat owned by Sam Meredith of The Daily Register, Lamont and Margot find a cargo of fish packed with narcotics inside. The nightclub owner was receiving the shipments without arousing suspicion. The Shadow confiscates the murder weapon and prevents Meredith from killing Patrini and Brewster.
