Synopsis:

Fearful of a deathly premonition, Alice attempts to thwart her marriage to Bruce on their wedding day until Lamont convinces her that it’s only butterflies. Alice, however, drops dead on her way to the altar. Two days after her death, the ghostly fingers of the dead woman have seemingly drifted from the grave during a séance by both Lamont and Margot. On the brink from strained nerves on what would have been his honeymoon evening, Bruce is conducting a séance with Alaric, a mysterious man who appears to represent death. The ghost of Alice urges Bruce to come join her in the afterlife until The Shadow arrives to prevent bloodshed. Exposing the séance as a fake, the invisible avenger pulls Alice out from hiding to reveal the entire ruse. Bruce was formerly married to Frieda who died in a motor accident right after their wedding. Alice and Alaric are Frieda’s sister and brother, blaming Bruce because he’d been driving after drinking too much, and they decided to get even by tricking Bruce into committing suicide.
