Synopsis:
Seeking shelter in an old mansion known as “High Cliff Mansion,” Lamont and Margot find themselves reliving and witnessing a series of murders and suicides that occurred forty years ago. Abigail Cartwright was charged and tried for the murder of brothers Edgar and Hugo, but she was later acquitted for lack of evidence. After the same grisly crimes occur in the same fashion, Lamont wonders if he and Margot have somehow traveled back in time. After consulting old newspapers about the April 1906 crimes, Lamont returns to the murder mansion as The Shadow to question Abigail and learns she hired two cousins to play the role of the dead men. Her brother Jonathan committed the crimes and since his mind began faltering a year ago, she attempted to have him relive the past. Angry about the ruse and having accidentally exposed himself as the true murderer, Jonathan attempts suicide, but The Shadow prevents it and Jonathan lives to stand trial.
