Synopsis:

Dr. Lubeck has been aiding the U.S. government in guided missile development while foreign agents threaten the lives of his family and friends overseas. Working under orders for a friend in the government, Lamont acts as a temporary bodyguard for the doctor until Washington agents arrive the next day. Discovering that Lubeck has already received pressure and that another agent recorded their entire conversation, Lamont believes Margot’s life may now be in danger. Lamont phones Commissioner Weston to alert the naval patrol while he and Lubeck race to the pier to stop the enemy agents from escaping the country and permanently disposing of Margot. The Shadow tricks the agents into emptying their guns, thus alerting the naval patrol who take the men into custody. Freeing Margot from her bindings, The Shadow tells her the good news — naval headquarters sent out the anti-submarine patrol for a practice run outside the harbor setting off a few depth charges as a warning to the unwelcome visitors stationed offshore.
