Synopsis:
An American pilot is murdered when he stumbles upon a Communist plot to overthrow the friendly government of San Rico. After a second pilot has been hired to replace the murdered man, Lamont and Margot fly down to New Orleans at the request of U. S. Security to investigate a man named Fernandez. When The Shadow uncovers the intended method of destruction, he pays a visit to Jeff Clinton, the new pilot, in hopes of convincing the young man to turn in his employers. After the police get involved, Fernandez and his associate, Steve Hubbard, force Jeff to fly them to San Rico but Jeff takes matters into his own hands, threatening to crash the plane rather than see their plan succeed. Overhearing the confession on board, The Shadow laughs because he intends to see that justice prevails.
