Synopsis:

Slick Valenti is taking over the fight racket in the small clubs. When Puncher Simons decides to win a fight he was “requested” to throw, he pays for his mistake with his death — a murder that is ruled an accident by police. Fighter Jim Monks’ brother, Marty, alerts Lamont to the racket when Valenti warns Marty what will happen if he doesn’t throw the fight — a warehouse will be knocked over, a watchman killed, and his brother’s body will be found on the scene. While seeking proof that will put Valenti behind bars, Lamont is pushed into oncoming traffic by one of Valenti’s henchmen. When Marty’s kid brother arrives at the training room badly cut and bleeding, warning his brother to take the fall or else, The Shadow appears and splashes water on the young boy, washing away the fake blood. Marty is shocked. His own kid brother was in cahoots with Valenti, with money riding on Marty’s fall. Angry, the fighter enters the ring and wins in the fourth round. Commissioner Weston rounds up Valenti and his gang after Jim confesses.
