Synopsis:
Newlyweds Nancy and John Craig purchase a mirror supposedly made in the days when witches were being burned and people believed in visions. A legend connected with the mirror claims that one can see the faces of people about to die in it. When Nancy sees the face of her father and he dies days later from what appears to be an accident, she calls on Margot for help. Lamont inspects the mirror and finds nothing out of the ordinary. The Shadow questions Nancy as she emotionally breaks down. The Shadow also questions Plevins but the servant dies shortly after Nancy claims to have seen his face in the reflected glass. Eventually, The Shadow finds proof that John killed Nancy’s father so he could inherit her father’s money and used the legend of the mirror as a way to drive his wife insane using a flashlight and photographs played against the mirror while she was drugged.
