Synopsis:

The King of the Beggars meets the King of the Shadows when a gang of street beggars are being taught by Mose how to get the layout of a room so they can rob the safes of wealthy clients without making any noise, needing any lights, or waking their victims. When one robbery is fouled and a murder occurs, Mose kills the crook to set an example for the rest. Following the trail using clues and a tip from informant Poindexter, Lamont and Margot attempt to prevent another robbery and murder. Facing off against Mose, The Shadow tricks the blind man into turning on the lights, thus giving The Shadow the advantage. A friend of Margot’s named Rosie comes to the rescue, shooting Mose after he attempts to kill Margot.
