Synopsis:

The Blue Plague sweeps the city, described as such by the victims whose skin turns blue moments before they drop dead. Over a hundred people have dropped like flies in the streets, theaters and schools. Authorities are helpless and a citywide evacuation is planned. While scientists try to isolate the mysterious plague, Lamont follows a lead when Margot’s friend Ruth Vania dies of the disease. Her husband Paul, a noted scientist, accidentally injected himself with an experimental serum, becoming a carrier of the disease and able to kill any living thing he touches. While Vania wanders the streets choosing his victims, Margot goes looking for Lamont and when the scientist learns that she and Lamont examined Ruth’s body in the morgue, he attempts to make Margot his next victim. The Shadow tricks Vania into believing he scratched himself on broken glass, when in reality he was injected with a cure for the disease, preventing him from spreading the Blue Plague.
