Synopsis:

Margot and Lamont were peacefully strolling along Fifth Avenue in the Easter Parade when they find themselves swept into a mystery involving a weasel-like man named Hymie and a gunman named Tony. Lamont and Margot are kidnapped and held captive in a strange mansion on upper Fifth Avenue where Mr. Meed, a modern day Bluebeard, resides with an eccentric old woman. When Hymie is shot and plunges to his death, Lamont assumes the identity of The Shadow to question all the suspects, save Margot from Mr. Meed’s scientific experiments and reveal Tony as Hymie’s murderer. The motive was thirty thousand dollars, which Tony’s fiancée, Eve, was attempting to invest before Hymie got his hands on the money.
