Synopsis:

Bent on solving the mystery of a series of shipboard bombings at the pier, Margot and Lamont check the shipping lists to see what other vessels were docked when the bombs went off and discover the explosions were not meant to kill anyone. A gang of crooks operates a narcotics ring and creates bombings as a diversion while the gang unloads contraband on another pier. Lamont and Margot get too close when they witness the murder of an elderly bomb maker and escape from the clutches of a gang member attempting to drown the two in a boating “accident.” Racing against time, The Shadow tracks down the two men responsible for arranging the bombings and learns when and where the next explosion is planned. Lamont races aboard a luxury liner, steals a steamer basket containing the device and throws it overboard within seconds of the blast.
