Synopsis:
When Jack Archer awoke on his wedding day, after his bachelor party, he found himself in his lakeside lodge, surrounded by evidence of violence and murder with no recollection of what had happened. With the wedding canceled and his fiancée Vicki standing by him, Jack calls on Lamont to help unearth the facts. Lamont soon discovers that Jack was drugged at his party and the murder scene is a gruesome hoax and part of a blackmail scheme. Learning how Stan, Jack’s best man, and Candy Kane, a hard-for-cash woman, faked a murder so Candy can be paid and Stan can gain Vicki on the rebound. The Shadow foils Stan when their scheme starts to fail and Stan attempts to put Candy at the bottom of the lake to silence her confession.
