Synopsis:

Called to the isolated mansion of wealthy old matriarch Victoria Randolph by her frightened granddaughter, Lamont and Margot arrive in time to see a strange vision of death fulfilled. The old woman fell down a flight of stairs to her death but Lamont suspects she was dead before she reached the stairs — her body thrown down the steps to appear an accident and eliminate the suspicion of murder. While Margot and Suzan leave for town to get the police, Lamont secretly remains behind to overhear the conversation between Edward and Luther. The latter claims to have visions when he dreams but they were nothing of the sort — his predictions were a result of watching Edward tamper with his uncle’s car and throw Victoria’s body down the stairs. Luther never got into the tampered car and covered for Edward, assuming he would inherit part of the family fortune. The Shadow disarms Edward so the police that arrive shortly will find their task easier. Suzan will inherit the family fortune and remain content that her grandmother’s love and trust meant much more.
