Synopsis:
Following a slender lead to the mysterious disappearance of an out-of-town beauty contest winner, Margot and Lamont investigate an aesthetic photographer named Leon Victor and a talent agent named Stew Lambert. Lamont plants seeds of doubt in the mind of the talent agent who pays a visit to the photographer in fear of being exposed for a crime he did not commit. Victor kills the agent after his secret is revealed: he persuaded the young girl to leave her home and friends to follow the will-o’-the-wisp of fame and fortune — only to vanish as if she had never lived. After killing the girl, he used her corpse to mold a plaster of Paris statue over every contour of her body. The Shadow forces a confession from the mad photographer just as Weston and his men arrive.
