Synopsis:

Three men have been murdered, each in possession of a bloodstained yellow cloth shortly before his death. Lamont and Margot investigate and discover that years previous all the victims were part of a Brazilian diamond expedition. The cloth was part of the neckerchief that was around Floyd Munsen’s neck the day he was fatally shot. His body was never recovered. As the suspects die one by one of gruesome deaths (poison, an arrow in the back, etc.), Lamont narrows down the only people who knew about the expedition and that one of those murdered had possession of a diamond worth half a million dollars. The diamond, however, is not the motive. Too close to the truth, Lamont and Margot find themselves trapped in a room with the killer attempting to shoot them with arrows. Through a smashed window, The Shadow sneaks outside to foil the scheme and reveals Setumba, a local Brazilian native who was Munsen’s right-hand man, as the guilty party.
