Synopsis:

A hoodlum named Frankie Harmon was under lock and key for the murder of millionaire art dealer Percy Bainbridge until the night he escaped to exact revenge on those responsible for his imprisonment. Frankie seeks out Celia Bainbridge, the woman he loves, only to find himself placed under arrest by Weston, thanks to a tip from Rudolph Gamion, a phony medium. Celia is one of Gamion’s clients, and the medium attempted to sell her out for the reward money. Frankie escapes from the police, murders Gamion and wounds his wife. As Lamont investigates, he discovers Frankie was with Celia since he escaped Weston’s custody. Margot arranges to conduct a séance of her own at Gamion’s place, inviting all the suspects and Commissioner Weston. As The Shadow, Lamont proves that Celia’s brother, Henry, is the real killer. He murdered their brother Percy for the inheritance and pinned the crime on Harmon.
