Synopsis:

In an effort to solve the mystery of Fay Thornton’s strange death, Margot and Lamont have traveled to Seacliff Castle, an old mansion built high on the cliffs above the ocean. Exploring the huge old house, they find an armed caretaker preventing them from wandering the grounds, the specter of a woman haunting the hallways, and her fiancé, Ted, murdered before the police can be alerted. Seaweed and the haunting suggest the ghost of Fay, but when Margot learns an important clue from the caretaker, she revisits the mansion and finds herself an intended victim of Marshall Thornton, Fay’s father. Marshall claims Fay is mentally disturbed and locked her up to prevent the girl from causing serious injury to Ted. But when The Shadow comes to save Margot, he reveals that Fay is alive and well, and the roles are reversed — it is Marshall who is disturbed. Unable to face the truth, Marshall attempts to jump over the cliff, but The Shadow saves his life so the police and the doctors can take over.
