Synopsis:
Working undercover within the syndicate of gambling and espionage run by Horace Bevel, Lamont is subjected to an acid test when the men start suspecting the purpose of his employment. Bevel’s racket of espionage and the selling out of his country isn’t well-accepted by David Fairfield, who works alongside Lamont and Margot, approving of their every plan. When Bevel discovers the woman operating the tables is really Margot Lane he forces her to reveal Lamont’s location and finds he’s walked into a trap. The Shadow, revealing how Bevel had names of influential men to be corrupted tattooed on his skin (invisible to ordinary light, but glowing under a black light), turns the tables on Bevel when the men he hired won’t go along with espionage.
