Synopsis:

A chance meeting has embroiled Lamont in a web of mystery, seeking the woman who was the model for a painting in an antique shop window display. Carlos Gomez was killed for trying to find the model, Dolores Valdez. When The Shadow questions Mr. Bentley, owner of the antique store, the man is also murdered. Lamont and Margot follow the trail after listening to a children’s record which, when played at half-speed, reveals the location and time a shipment of explosives and ammunition is to be shipped out of the country. The Shadow comes into the picture, overpowering the criminals and stealing the gun out of Dolores’ hands so the guilty will be unarmed for the approaching American police boat at the harbor.
