Synopsis:

Tommy Borden, recently released from reform school, pays a visit to Chris Landos and finds himself hired to transport stolen cars across the state line. At first, Chris believes he’s reaching the big time, but when Lamont and Margot follow close on his heels at the request of Commissioner Weston, Chris rejects the offer to cooperate with the police. Pop Borden attempts to phone Lamont when he discovers his son is involved and Tommy knocks his father out. Panicking, the boy phones Chris, who assures Tommy that he’ll take care of him. When Tommy later discovers his father died from a bullet to the head, he realizes he is being framed for a crime he did not commit and sets out to murder Chris. Upon getting a confession from Chris, Tommy attempts to force the stolen car racketeer into phoning the police until Chris’ friend Roxy shows up to get the better of Tommy. The Shadow arrives to save the boy’s life and help set right what was wrong; he punches Roxy out and assures Chris he will be turned over to the law. Upon learning that Tommy was doing the right thing, the police turn him over to the custody of Joan Mason.
