Synopsis:

Having ordered the coffin for his own funeral, T. Theodore Jedrick II stepped into the street in front of the Heavenly Hope Funeral Parlor where he was killed instantly by a hit and run limousine. Seeking a simple and logical explanation, Lamont ventures to the house of Jedrick, a bleak castle overlooking the sea. After Dierdre Jedrick, Theodore’s sister, is found stabbed to death and Lysle, the brother, falls to his death over the cliff, all eyes are on Layo, a Jamaican high priest. Margot, however, discovers that Lysle is alive and well, having faked his death. He killed off his entire family trying to use the smoke screen of the Obi curse placed on the family by Layo. Now the proud possessor of the family treasure of rare antique coins, Lysle attempts to flee by boat with Margot as hostage. The Shadow, however, snuck on board, as did Layo. The Shadow witnesses Lysle shoot Layo but the strength and will of the high priest lasts long enough to kill Lysle before he dies.
