Synopsis:

Nelson Troy asks Lamont for help in order to learn the whereabouts of his missing Fridays. At midnight every Thursday evening he blacks out and awakens on Saturday morning. While investigating, Lamont observes a series of murders arranged by booby traps intended for Troy but killing those close to him by accident. Finding Troy in an apartment, Lamont discovers his client has a split personality — and alter ego — that of Benjamin Leach. After learning that a death threat was written on the same typewriter that created a series of letters linked to espionage that David Fairfield has been investigating, Lamont pieces together the clues to solve the mystery. Troy murdered his father five years ago when Ben Leach uncovered proof of his son’s espionage work. As the years passed, the load of guilt became unbearable, and Troy attempted to subconsciously punish himself. The final booby trap in his father’s crypt takes the life of Nelson Troy, putting an end to the mystery.
