Synopsis:

Returning from a skiing trip in a blizzard, Lamont and Margot find themselves marooned in the twisted house of Ben Falkenberg, who died and left a fortune concealed in the rotting rooms. Inside are four mysterious people who were searching for the money and became trapped in a replica of an executioner’s gas chamber. Ten years ago Falkenburg escaped from prison, shot a guard and stole one hundred thousand dollars from the Chase Bond Company. The entire house is filled with booby traps designed to kill anyone snooping for the riches. A firing line of guns, a gas chamber and a spring noose eliminate the visitors one by one. Lamont soon discovers that some of the visitors are criminals, while others have personal reasons for risking their lives. Lamont and Margot venture down a hallway, avoiding the blade of a sharp guillotine by inches and meeting Falkenburg face to face. He let others think he was dead so he would have company in the old home. Forcing Margot to an electric chair, Falkenburg dies by his own hand when, distracted by The Shadow, he touches live electric wires.
