Synopsis:
Under orders from David Fairfield, Lamont and Margot fly south to Cuba to investigate the theft of a secret formula from the Hendrick Chemical Company which in the wrong hands can arm a nation with destructive bombs capable of wiping out whole cities. Following one lead after another, Lamont and Margot attempt to locate Hendrick’s secretary, Laura Wallace. She was sent to Cuba in an effort to kill an international spy named Gregory. Laura’s scheme fails when she falls fatally victim to Gregory and Hernandez. Assisted by his lover Juanita, Hernandez captures the investigating Lamont and, after an exchange of words with Gregory, places him in a wooden shack set afire. Margot arrives in time to wake the unconscious Lamont and free him from the flames. Gregory steals the formula from Hendricks before murdering him but becomes the next intended victim of Hernandez and Juanita. The Shadow arrives and knocks the gun out of Hernandez’s hands, forcing the criminals to the deck of the boat so he can steer them directly into the arms of the Coast Guard.
