Synopsis:

Lamont and Margot are returning from a party when they run out of gas ten miles out of the city on a deserted road on a snowy winter night. Taking shelter at the country estate of Peter Hamilton, they stumble upon the recently dead body of a man with his throat slashed. During the night, they hear Hamilton’s young son George crying out when the wolves howl and find Hamilton attempting to destroy blood-soaked clothes that are slashed in pieces. Lamont and Margot set out to find George, who escaped from his bedroom window. They succeed and, after questioning the lad, discover that each night a brutal murder occurred, he was drugged into a deep sleep. Someone then snuck into George’s room and smeared the blood on his clothing in an attempt to convince the boy that he was a werewolf by night. The guilty party proves to be Jonas, the house servant, who used real wolves to commit the murders in an attempt to drive George to an asylum as revenge against his father. When The Shadow makes an appearance, Jonas releases the wolves so they can go after the invisible avenger. They turn against Jonas until The Shadow shoots the wolves so the criminal can die instead in the electric chair.
